Commission Terms and Info ✨

General Terms
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms and conditions.
These terms apply to any art and illustration service that I provide.
By commissioning me, you acknowledge and agreed to these terms.Accepting a Commission
• All commissions are subject to approval.
• I reserve the right to decline or cancel a commission at my discretion.
• Clear references and instructions must be provided before work begins.
• The commission covers only the work agreed upon at the start of the project.
• Requests outside the original may require additional fees.File Format, Raster Files and Sizing
• Artwork is created by pixel-based (raster) files by default.
• Vector-based artwork may be requested if you need various sizes and must be specified before the artwork begins.
• Final dimensions, file format, and intended use must be agreed upon in advance to ensure that the artwork will be acceptable for what you need.
• Please note that pixel-based artwork cannot be enlarged beyond its original size without loss of quality. I am not responsible for any quality loss caused by resizing or any format changes after delivery of the artwork.
• Requests for some alternate formats and/ or sizes after completion may require some additional fees or a new commission if pixel based file is used. This is because I may be required to redraw the artwork.Payment
• A partial payment (deposit) may be required before work begins.
• The remaining balance must be paid before final delivery of the artwork.
• You may request updates and request progress to check.
• Prices and payment terms are agreed upon before starting with any large commission you will be required to fill out a commission form.
• Payments are processed through the platforms provided. I accept PayPal, bank transfer, Ko-Fi, V-Gen, Etsy, and Artistree. Please note I am not responsible for third-party processing fees.Revisions
• 1–3 minor revisions are included depending on the project.
• Minor revisions include small adjustments, but not complete redesigns.
• Any additional or major revisions may require an extra fee depending on the project.Turnaround Time
• Estimated completion times will be provided but this is not guaranteed as delays may occur. This can be due to workload, complexity, or any unforeseen circumstances.Refunds and Cancellations
• Any initial deposit is non-refundable once work has begun.
• If the client cancels before work begins, a full refund will be issued.
• If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable and any additional refund is at my discretion based on work completed.
• If I am unable to complete the commission, a full refund will be issued.
• Refunds are not offered for completed artwork.
• Dissatisfaction with artistic style, interpretation, or creative decisions is not grounds for a refund as it's shown through my portfolio.Inactive Commissions
• Communication and updates may be required to keep the commission on schedule.
• If no response is received after a reasonable period, the commission may be placed on hold.
• Deposits for any abandoned commissions will be non-refundable.Copyright & Usage Rights
• I retain full copyright to all artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Usage rights depend on the type of artwork and will be specified before work begins:
For example, custom logos and branding work may include commercial usage rights as mutually agreed upon.
Original artwork purchases are for personal use only but commercial rights can be purchased.
• Any kind of commercial use, resale or redistribution requires prior written permission and may involve additional fees.
• I reserve the right to display completed work in portfolios, social media, and promotional materials unless privacy is requested, as I will always ask permission first.Client Responsibilities
• The client confirms they own or have permission to use all reference materials provided.
• The client may not claim authorship of the artwork.Hateful Content
• I do not create content that is illegal, hateful, or violates any platform rules.
• I reserve the right to refuse any content that makes me uncomfortable.Delivery and Sending Format
• Final artwork will be delivered digitally in the agreed file format. If commissioned not on a website the default sending method will be via WeTransfer.
• Physical products such as prints and additional exports are not included unless specified and agreed upon in advance.
• I am not responsible for how the artwork is used after delivery.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes void any usage rights.
• The artwork may not be used in a way that misrepresents the artistAI Training and Use
• No form of AI will be used for the commission work and I will not be accepting requests to use generative AI.
• My artwork will not be used for AI training, datasets, or machine learning purposes.
